The recent VMworld event has been filled with exciting announcements of vSphere 5.1, vCloud Director and new deep dive book releases. There were also several new VMware certifications announced. One of which is a particular interest of mine, Cloud Computing.
I am currently working with a large enterprise designing and supporting their production applications on a hybrid cloud, and now a certification track based on the technology has been announced. The track consists of similar exams we all know and study on vSphere, namely VCP, VCAP, and VCDX.
The VCP-IAAS is the starting point, and the only one available to take at the moment. If you are a VCP, no more training is required, you can rush over to VMware.com and download yourself a trial version.
As part of my VCP questions, I have added the first of my VCP-IAAS practice tests. Hopefully these will be useful.
It looks like a busy time ahead for VMware study
